Please follow this pre-match schedule for all CVVOA Volleyball matches.
For the first match of
the evening:
Ø When
you arrive on the floor 30 minutes before match time, put 20 minutes on
the clock.
Ø Conduct
the Coaches/Captains conference 25 minutes prior to the scheduled starting
time.
Ø
At the completion of conference, start the clock
immediately.
Ø
First 8 minutes - - Both teams warm up on
their half of the court.
Ø
At the 12:00 minute mark - - The team to
serve first uses the full court. The
other team may use any area outside the court.
Ø
At the 7:00 minute mark - - The team to
receive first uses the full court. The
other team may use any area outside the court.
Ø
At the 2:00 minute mark - - Both teams use
court to practice serves. Both teams
are expected to return the opponent’s volleyballs during the practice serves.
Ø
After announcements, introductions, and the National
Anthem (optional), start the match ON TIME.
For the second match
of the evening:
Ø
At the conclusion of the first match, put 20:00
minutes on the clock.
Ø
Conduct the Coaches/Captains conference immediately
(or as soon as possible).
Ø
At the completion of conference, start the clock
immediately.
Ø
First 8 minutes - - Both teams warm up on
their half of the court.
Ø
At the 12:00 minute mark - - The team to
serve first uses the full court. The
other team may use any area outside the court.
Ø
At the 7:00 minute mark - - The team to
receive first uses the full court. The
other team may use any area outside the court.
Ø
At the 2:00 minute mark - - Both teams use
court to practice serves. Both teams
are expected to return the opponent’s volleyballs during the practice serves.
Ø
After announcements, introductions, and the National
Anthem (optional), the second match should start approximately 25 minutes after
the completion of the first match.
