Base Coverage Responsibilities for Watching Runners Leaving Too Soon on a Pitch

Runner on 1^st only: U2 from the A position

Runner on 2^nd only: U2 from the B position

Runner on 3^rd only: U3 from the E position

Runners on 1^st and 2^nd: 1^st base - U2 from the B position

2^nd base - U3 from the E position

Runners on 1^st and 3^rd: 1^st base - U2 from the B position

3^rd base - U3 from the E position

Runners on 2^nd and 3^rd: 2^nd base - U2 from the B position

3^rd base - U3 from the E position

Base Loaded: 1^st base - U3 from the E position

2^nd base - U2 from the B position

3^rd base - U3 from the E position

NOTE: The Plate Umpire is responsible for calling balls and strikes and never has base coverage for runners leaving too soon.
