In the Tidewater District (King William, King&Queen, Mathews, Middlesex, and West Point), the rule is 10 runs ahead after at least 4-1/2 or five innings.

For Junior Varsity games at the outlying schools, the rule is 10 runs ahead after at least 4-1/2 or five innings.

For L.I.S. Schools, both JV and Varsity, the rule is 10 runs ahead after at least 4-1/2 or five innings.

For all Middle School games, the rule is 10 runs ahead after at least 4-1/2 or five innings.
