Annual Report
Even with all the
rain, MROS worked 555 games this past season (20% of games were canceled).
Total of
$79,244.00 in business, an increase of around $7K from last year.
The average gross
pay per umpire was $1,278.00.
MROS officiated
in 43 playoff/post-season games using 28 different umpires.
Five umpires
worked the VHSL championships (Foster, Gravatt, Harrison, Shepherd, and Stone).
Nine umpires
worked in the VISAA state tournament (Beard, Colgin, Gravatt, McFarland, Saltz,
Scott, Shepherd, Whitlock, and Yates).
TheArbiter.net is
changing to ArbiterSports.com as of July 7th. Passwords will remain
the same.
There may be good
news regarding the Dominion District come August.

Emails – For timely responses to your weekday emails, send to my work address of:
Cell Phone – If I don’t answer my cell phone, than I am at home where I have no reception. Please call my house number of: (804) 737-3793.
Game
Notes – Used to convey information regarding the upcoming game (date/time
changes, etc.). Do not use game ‘notes’
as a substitute for reports. The assignor should only be writing notes unless
the Base Umpire has important information regarding the game that he/she cannot
put on the game report due to the fact that only Plate umpires can do reports.
