MROS Meeting Minutes

J.R. Tucker High School
President
Tom Dent called the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m.
Tom
spoke of the departed Henry Armstrong and asked for a moment of silence.
The
attendance was taken by sign-in sheet.
The
minutes from the previous meeting were accepted as presented on the web site.
Tom
spoke briefly on how he envisioned meetings being conducted this season with 20
minutes for business and 1 hour for training sessions.
David
Schweiger was promoted from provisional member to a full member by vote of the
membership.
BYLAWS
COMMITTEE:
Bill
Harrison reviewed the proposed bylaw revisions and took comments and
suggestions, as approved by vote. The
proposal will be revamped and put on the website for all to look over. We will vote on them at the next business
meeting.
COMMISSIONER’S
REPORT:
Bruce
Frye went over “general housekeeping” items including the use of the website
and Arbiter. He recommended checking it
at least twice a week and to please put in close out dates before February 1st. Scrimmage games are listed and all current
members need to do at least one game and new members need to do two.
The
meeting was adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
The
next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, February 15, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. at Deep
Run Community Center.
